The War Amps Hosts Child Amputee Seminar in Edmonton
April 14, 2026 – The War Amps regional Child Amputee (CHAMP) Seminar will be held in Edmonton this weekend, bringing together child amputees and their parents in a supportive peer environment. At the core of this year’s seminar
is the Winner’s Circle – a guiding philosophy of the CHAMP Program that empowers young amputees to see ability over limitation and embrace the motto, “It’s what’s left that counts!” This event will provide child amputees and their families
with the opportunity to meet other young amputees, learn about the latest in artificial limbs and share helpful advice about living with an amputation.
Interviews with local Champs and War Amps representatives can be arranged on the day and/or in advance of the seminar.
