1927-2012

Murray Morris

Murray Everett Morris of Sussex, New Brunswick, was born on June 8, 1927. He served with the Lord Strathcona's Horse (Royal Canadians) “C” Squadron and fought in the Korean War. During an enemy attack on Hill 164, he was injured by pieces of shrapnel, resulting in the loss of his left leg below the knee.

Mr. Morris returned to Canada and joined The War Amps New Brunswick Branch, where he served as President from 1991-1992. He passed away on August 28, 2012.
